7/13/2009 - Eugene went back to Marshfield Motor Speedway on Saturday night, a place where he owns 2 track championships during his career. He made a three-wide pass to take the 2nd spot, then got by the leader with 8 to go, taking the checkers.
Eugene also took home a solid 3rd place finish at WIR on Thursday night.
7/5/2009 - Eugene had a solid run at WIR, starting in the 13th position in the A-main, and running all the way up to a 6th place finish on the night. He also went to Dells Raceway Park on Saturday for the Wisconsin Challenge Series race, where he took home a 7th place finish.
6/20/2009 - Eugene started on the pole for the A-main at WIR on Thursday night, and he led all 30 laps of the event en route to his second win of the season at WIR. Tim Rothe gave it a run toward the end of the race, but Eugene navigated through lapped traffic to pick up the victory.
6/15/2009 - Eugene went to Marshfield for the 1st time this season to compete in the Wisconsin Challenge Series race. He qualified strong, being the 3rd fastest super late model through the gates. Eugene hung up around the top 5 the entire race, finishing in 4th position.
6/13/2009 - Eugene started the 75 lap main event at WIR in the 14th position, and quickly put himself into the top 10. With half of the race over, he had moved behind Jeff Van Oudenhoven into the 7th spot. A mechanical failure from Steve Holzhausen moved Eugene up to 6th, and that's where he finished.
6/6/2009 - Eugene started in the 12th position in Thursday's main event at WIR, and quickly made his way up to 5th. Running the high line, the top 4 got tangled up, with Jr. dodging all of them through the middle of the track.
A total of 11 cars were involved in the incident, and Jr. inherited the lead. He took command and won his 1st ever Super Late Model A-main at WIR. He will be participating in the Red Race at WIR next Thursday night.
5/31/2009 - Eugene was unable to qualify for the main at Dells Raceway Park on Saturday. It was the 2nd ASA race Eugene has attended this season. He made the starting grid in the 1st race at Elko Speedway.
5/27/2009 - Eugene drew the pole for the Wisconsin Challenge Series race at Golden Sands Speedway on Memorial Day. He would lead the bulk of the race, but a late restart bunched the field, and Mark Eswein was able to pass on the inside.
Chris Weinkauf also got by, giving Eugene a 3rd place finish in the 100 lap race.
5/17/2009 - Eugene had planned on attending the ASA Midwest Tour race in Iowa, but for financial reasons decided to take a crack at the Dells Raceway Park.
He qualified 2nd fastest out of the 17 car field, and was running the high line when another car was pushed up into him, bringing out a caution and sending Jr. to the back.
He would climb back up into the top 10, but was pushed into the infield while attempting a pass, and received the black flag.
Eugene will be running the ASA race at Elko Speedway on May 23rd.

9/6/2008 - 7th @ Marshfield's Season Finale - Eugene was not a factor at the front of the super late model feature on Saturday night, coming home with a 7th place finish for the 2nd week in a row. He started the night 2nd in points, and ended the night in 2nd. Tim Hintz would walk away with the 2008 Marshfield Speedway track championship, denying Jr. of his 3rd straight title.
8/30/2008 - 7th @ Marshfield - Eugene started up front on Saturday night, and held the lead for numerous laps, but once he lost the lead he dropped back in the field. With 10 laps to go, he started the free-fall all the way back to a 7th place finish in the A-main.
8/28/2008 - 9th @ WIR - Eugene was fast in qualifying, notching the 2nd fastest qualifying time for the super late models at WIR. He would start 10th in the A-main, and struggled to gain ground on the field. He would end up with a 9th place finish for the night's work.
8/23/2008 - 18th @ Marshfield (WCS Race) - Eugene did not have a great evening, qualifying 15th fastest for the WCS race at Marshfield Super Speedway. He would place 18th in the A-main event.
8/21/2008 - 11th @ WIR - Eugene qualified 15th fastest at WIR on Thursday night, and was able to come away with an 11th place finish in the A-main event. Eugene will try to regain his points lead at the Marshfield Super Speedway on Saturday night.
8/16/2008 - 9th @ Marshfield - Eugene ran into some tough luck on Saturday night, as he was collected in an incident during the A-main. He was able to get the car back out onto the track, and still pulled off a 9th place finish on the night. The incident happened at the front of the field, so a good chance at ending up in victory lane was taken away.
8/14/2008 - 3rd @ WIR - Eugene qualified 8th fastest at WIR on Thursday night, and he would start in the 6th position. He quickly made his way to the front, challenging and passing race leader Tim Rothe on lap 22. Rothe would be able to regain the lead from Eugene, and go on to win the 50 lap A-main. Greg Haese also slipped by for 2nd, with Eugene settling for a 3rd place finish.
August 10, 2008 - Eugene was challenging Chris Weinkauf for the lead at Marshfield, but the two got together entering turn #3, sending Weinkauf into a spin. Eugene would be ruled as part of the incident, sending both competitors to the rear of the field. Eugene was able to get back to a 10th place finish.
August 9, 2008 - On Thursday, Eugene was the 3rd fastest qualifier at WIR. He would start the A-main in the 6th spot, and worked his way into a solid 4th place finish on the night.
On Friday, he qualified 5th fastest at Golden Sands and would start 4th in the A-main. This time he fell back in the field, ending up with an 8th place finish.
August 5, 2008 - Eugene was one of the fastest qualifiers for the ASA Midwest Tour race on Tuesday at WIR, qualifying 6th fastest. 30 laps into the 150 lap feature, his brakes were almost completely gone, killing any momentum he could get trying to chase down the field.
He was running in 13th place with 10 laps to go, but pulled off to stay out of the way of the leaders in the final remaining laps, giving him an 18th place finish on the night. Eugene plans to be back at WIR on Thursday for their weekly show.
August 2, 2008 - Fresh off his WCS victory the previous night, Eugene took to Marshfield on Saturday night. He would qualify 5th fastest, and brought home a 3rd place finish on the night.
August 1, 2008 - Eugene put an exclamation point on a very up and down day for him and his crew on Friday night @ Golden Sands. During practice, his driveshaft came apart and destroyed his transmission. They went to work on fixing the car, and were able to turn out a 9th fastest qualifying time.
Eugene was placed in the 4th starting spot, and it didn't take him long to claim the top position. By lap 4, he was in the lead, and he never let go, leading 96 laps and holding off Kenny Richards for much of the race. Richards would be challenged from behind late in the race, allowing Eugene to comfortably coast to his 2nd career Wisconsin Challenge Series victory.
July 31, 2008 - Eugene qualified 2nd fastest on the night @ WIR and would start the feature in the 12th position. He would get as high as 5th place, but drifted toward the rear of the top 10 towards the end. He ended up with a 9th place finish on the night.
July 26, 2008 - Eugene qualified 4th at Marshfield on Saturday night, and would be a heavy challenger at the front of the feature event. Eugene was unable to track down the leaders, but he was able to keep the car up front for a 3rd place finish.
July 24, 2008 - Eugene took to the track @ WIR and was one of the fastest qualifiers on the night, coming in 5th. He would also be the winner of the fast dash. That would put him in a 9th place starting position for the feature.
Once again not a lot of movement in the middle of the pack, but he was able to gain 2 spots, netting a 7th place finish on the night.
July 19, 2008 - Eugene ran in the White Race at the Wisconsin International Raceway on Saturday night, and had another good run. He was able to grab the lead early on in the race, but in the 100 lap marathon the early leader usually gets run down at some point.
Eugene lost the lead to eventual winner Tim Rothe on lap 10, and started a slow move out of the top 5. He would end the night with a 9th place finish.
July 18, 2008 - With the recent rainouts at WIR the last couple of weeks, Eugene took to a familiar place at the Golden Sands Speedway on Friday night. He would qualify 4th and start the feature 5th. Not much movement overall in the race, as 3 of the top 4 starting positions stayed in the top 4 at the finish.
Eugene would secure a 7th place finish on the night.
July 12, 2008 - Eugene was running in 3rd place in the feature when he tried to make the pass on the outside for the lead, but wasn't able to make the pass stick. He was passed on the inside by Blake Horstman and M.G. Gajewski, and he ended the night with a 5th place finish.
Eugene is still the points leader @ Marshfield.
July 5, 2008 - Eugene ran in the Wisconsin Challenge Series on Saturday night, and was leading the 100 lap feature event for over 20 laps. He would be shuffled back in the field into a 6th place finish on the night.

July 3, 2008 - Eugene qualified 11th @ WIR on Thursday. He would start 10th in the field for the feature, and made his way up into the top 5.
He would do battle with Gregg Haese for the #4 spot, but Haese shut the door numerous times, leaving Eugene to settle for 5th place on the night.
June 28, 2008 - Eugene qualified 4th in the super lates on Saturday night @ Marshfield Super Speedway. In the feature event, he took to the inside & outside lanes to pass everybody by on his way to the front.
Eugene dove to the inside of race leader Rory Melbinger and never looked back, taking his 2nd feature win @ Marshfield. He is the current point leader in the super lates at the track.
June 26, 2008 - Eugene qualified 4th in the super lates on Thursday night @ WIR. He would start 6th in the feature, and made his way up to 2nd place on lap #2. He went up high on race leader Terry Baldry but Baldry moved up in front of him, causing slight contact and spinning Baldry around.
Eugene's hood unlatched, sending him down pit lane. Some duct tape work was done, and he charged from the back of the field to take home 7th place.
June 24, 2008 - Eugene ran with the likes of Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch & Matt Kenseth at the MIS Speedway on Tuesday night.
He came through the last chance race, finishing 3rd, but trouble with the rear end would end his night early during the 100 lap feature event.
June 21, 2008 | WIR & Marshfield Speedway - Eugene had some carburetor issues with the new Ford Fusion @ WIR last Saturday night in the Red race, and finished near the back of the pack in the feature. Thursday he qualified 14th @ WIR and finished in 17th.
This past Saturday night @ Marshfield Super Speedway, he qualified 3rd. He also had a great run in the feature event, starting in 12th and finishing in 6th place.
May 31, 2008 | Marshfield Speedway - Eugene started dead last in the field, but that didn't stop him from picking up his 1st feature win of the season @ the Marshfield Super Speedway. Eugene is the defending track champion at the track.
May 30, 2008 | Golden Sands Speedway - Eugene qualified 7th @ Golden Sands Speedway, and started 4th in the main event. He finished in 8th place on the night.
May 26, 2008 | Golden Sands Speedway - Running in the Wisconsin Challenge Series @ Golden Sands Speedway, Eugene qualified 15th and started 15th in the main event. He ended up being the last car on the lead lap, finishing in 10th place.
May 24, 2008 | Marshfield Speedway - Eugene was the fastest qualifier on opening night @ Marshfield Super Speedway. He charged through the field up to fourth, and was able to make the pass at the end to take 3rd.
May 23, 2008 | Golden Sands Speedway - Eugene was the 6th fastest qualifier @ Golden Sands Speedway. He started in 2nd but had issues staying on the bottom of the track and fell all the way to an 18th place finish.
May 9, 2008 | Golden Sands Speedway - Eugene was the 3rd fastest qualifier on opening night @ Golden Sands Speedway. He fell back from his 5th starting position to finish in 9th.
