Eugene Jr. started his racing career in 1999 when he was 15 years old. He picked up his 1st career feature win that year at Luxemburg Speedway in the sport truck division. The very next night, he captured the super stock victory at 141 Speedway.
In 2000, Eugene moved up to the Mid American division at the 141 Speedway, capturing numerous feature victories including a victory at Rockford Speedway. Eugene became the youngest driver at age 16 to win the event at Rockford.
In 2001, he moved on to the Super Late Model division and has remained there to the present day. He has enjoyed great success in the division, with his latest accomplishment being crowned the 2007 Super Late Model champion at Marshfield Speedway. He also won the track title in 2006.
Eugene is also racing in the ASA Midwest Tour in 2008.
His father, Eugene Sr., is a very accomplished racer as well. Sr. has a total of 5 track championships at Thunderhill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, WI. He won 4 track titles in the IMCA modifieds and 1 in the IMCA stock cars. This past season he also held a share of the IMCA northern sport mod title at Shawano Speedway. Sr. also piloted a Mid American at 141 Speedway.
